When butter is melted, add cream cheese.
Serve over hot fettucine noodles.

Apple Harvest Cheesecake
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1⁄2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1⁄4 cup butter, melted
Combine ingredients and press into a springform pan. Bake at
350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- (2) 8 oz. packages cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 tsp. vanilla
Blend cream cheese and sugar. Add the eggs and mix well. Blend
in vanilla. Pour onto crust.
- 4 cups thinly sliced apples, peeled
- 1⁄2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup chopped pecans
Toss ingredients and arrange apples on cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle remaining sugar, cinnamon, and pecans over top. Bake
at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake

Crust
- 20 chocolate creme sandwich cookies
- 3 tb melted butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
Using back of spoon, press onto bottom of greased 10" springform pan or pie
plate. Refrigerate.
Cheese Filling
- 1 lb cream cheese -- softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 16 oz non dairy whipped topping –thawed + additional for garnish
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Cream the cheese, sugar and vanilla with an
electric mixer at high speed for about 5 minutes or until the sugar is
dissolved. Add the cocoa; beat on low until mixed and then increase to
high, beating until mixture is light and fluffy. Fold in the whipped
topping with spatula until just blended. Pour into pan and refrigerate
until firm, about 2 hours. Decorate with additional whipped topping and
chocolate shavings. Slice with knife dipped in hot water.
Sour Cream Yeast Rolls

- 2 cups bread flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons active dry yeast
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup butter cut into small pieces
- 1 large egg
- Melted butter or margarine (optional)
- Combine first 8 ingredients in a 1-pound-loaf bread machine according to manufacturer's instructions. Process in dough cycle.
- Turn dough out onto a heavily floured surface, and knead 4 or 5 times. Divide dough in half. Shape each portion of dough into 9 balls, and place in a lightly greased 9-inch round pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place (85 degrees), free from drafts, 30 minutes or until rolls are doubled in bulk.
- Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden. Brush hot rolls with melted butter, if desired. Yield: 1 1/2 dozen.
Flaky Cinnamon Cookies
These were good. I added finely chopped pecans to this—maybe ¼ cup more or less.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees

- 1 (17.5 oz) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
- ¼ cup ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Flatten out each pastry sheet, sprinkle sugar mixture evenly over the surface. Roll up the shee the long way and slice into about 15 slices. Place on cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes.
Ultimate Scalloped Potatoes

- 1 teaspoon butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, crushed
- 6 medium pototoes
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese (4 oz)
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Grease a shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish with the butter; set aside. In a sauce pan, combine cream, milk, salt, pepper and garlic. Cook just until bubbles begin to form around sides of pan. Remove from heat; cool for 10 minutes.
Peel and thinly slice potatoes; pat dry with paper towels. Lay half of the potatoes in the prepared dish; top with half of the cream mixture and half of the cheeses. Repeat layers.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 55-65 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
